Welcome to 2016, SlapSad fans! Our annual Drunken Holiday Brawl was a resounding success, with a total of 94 fatalities over a two-week period – that’s a new office record! Naturally, this achievement had some assistance in the form of good old-fashioned police brutality and the recent legalization of lightsabers, but we still think it’s pretty impressive.
This year, we’ve got a whole new crop of Creatives ready to think conceptually until their brains explode and/or they die, plus a fresh team of interns eager to gain valuable work experience* by not receiving paychecks.
In case you didn’t know, 2016 is The Year of the Sloth, which is uber-cool because sloths are our favorite office animal! According to our research, “uber” is a new word the kids are using these days, so I thought I’d adopt it to make sure everyone knows that SlapSad is still relevant. It means “super.”
Anyways, enough about the uber-new year. Let’s move on to more important matters – our first release of the new year! We’re calling it the Question Everything funny postcard. Inspired by an image Carl created to accompany the announcement of our new World Wide Webhost, this postcard poses a question mark that’ll turn your world upside-down and have you second-guessing everything!
The Question Everything postcard is available in black and in white, representing the forces of God and Weevil, respectively. These are the two preeminent forces that struggle for dominance in The Year of the Sloth, according to Wikipedia, which is a reliable source, according to our CLO, who still uses AOL.
Also, the phrase “Question Everything” appears on our Tumblr’s Ask page. Check it out.
Well, that’s enough words for now. Have a punch-happy Monday, everyone!
