When I announced the release of Plainclothes Postcards last week, I had no idea it would be such a smashing success. Orders started pouring in almost immediately, climbing steadily in volume until Zazzle’s servers finally succumbed late Friday night. I’m delighted by all the rave reviews, yet humbled at the same time. From the bottom of my heart, thank you all!
I’m happy to say that SlapSad’s second line of postcards is in the works. I can’t offer any hints as to its theme, but I can tell you that its style is quite removed from that of Plainclothes Postcards. Just know that if you enjoyed my first collection, you’ll most likely enjoy what I have in store.
In the meantime, I present Plainclothes Postage, the perfect way to pay for your Plainclothes Postcard. This exclusive collection of Zazzle stamps originally featured the main text from each postcard, from GREETINGS to OH GOD. However, Zazzle’s religious anxiety has unfortunately delayed the approval process for the OH GOD stamp, which means my coverage must halt at SORRY for now. Sorry about that.
Like their eponymous others, these stamps are trendsetting in their retrotype simplicity. They say so much more than “postage paid,” and they say it with such ease. They’re philatelic masterpieces – each and every one.
To order, head on over to SlapSad’s Zazzle shop.
Editor’s note: The OH GOD stamp was never approved. It simply vanished without explanation from the designer’s list of pending products. SlapSad regrets the incident.
